Open day for the exhibition area of construction equipment organized by Unacea and Confindustria Emilia
Unacea, the Italian construction equipment association, will be present at Excon, the international trade fair dedicated to construction equipment and technology, which will run until 21th May. At its X edition the Italian pavilion, organised by Confindustria Emilia and Unacea, will host the companies Mantovanibenne, Omb, Reggiana Riduttori, Schnell, Sit drive solutions e Vis Hydraulics. At Excon 2022, organised by the Confederation of Indian industry, there will be more than 1,300 exhibitors in an area of around 300,000 square metres.“After the pause imposed by the pandemic, we decided to participate in the Italian pavilion because we believe it is necessary to restart all the internationalisation activities at full capacity – said Jacopo Mantovani, marketing manager of Mantovanibenne. Excon represents an excellent international opportunity and a good instrument to increase our presence in the Indian growing market”. “Our presence at the Unacea-Confindustria Emilia pavilion has now become a well-established habit – said Adamo Venturelli, CEO of Vis Hydraulics. India remains an important destination for our sector and, despite the crisis of the last two years, the internal market has already restarted to grow at full speed, which is why we decided to confirm our presence also in this edition”.India, with a population of more than 1.4 billion and a Gdp growth of 9.5% in 2021, is confirmed as a promising business destination for the construction equipment market, with a turnover of $6.5 billion and more than 3 million employment. According to Off-Highway Research, in 2021 the market registered a volume growth of 12% exceeding the 80,000 units.
