First participation of the association at the international construction equipment trade fair in Beijing
Bices, the international exhibition for construction and mining equipment and materials, officially opened yesterday at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing and will run until 26 September. For the first time, Unacea will be present with its own institutional booth (stand E1333), alongside the Spanish association (Anmopyc) and the Turkish association (Imder).
“One of the roles of the association is to support the opening towards new markets and to develop collaborations with international trade fairs and industry associations – said Luca Nutarelli, managing director of Unacea. Participating in Bices represents not only an opportunity to keep up with technologies and trends in the sector, but also a concrete chance to strengthen the competitiveness of Italian companies abroad.”
The Chinese construction equipment market, with more than 131,000 units sold in 2024, confirms its position as the second largest worldwide. Looking at international trade, Italian sector exports to China exceeded €46 million in 2024 (+22% compared to 2023). The most profitable segment is crushing machines, while tower cranes, drilling and concrete machines are also recording growth.
Now in its seventeenth edition, Bices has established itself as one of the leading international events in Asia for the construction sector. The previous edition hosted 1,300 exhibitors from over 30 countries, more than 150,000 visitors from over 70 countries, and covered an exhibition space of more than 150,000 square meters.
