Changes at the top of Unacea

Enrico Prandini resigned as Vice-president and Counselor of Unacea considering the forthcoming conclusion of his professional activity in Komatsu Italia Manufacturing. The new Counselor appointed by Komatsu is David Bazzi, current CEO. Moreover, the board of directors of the Italian construction equipment association has elected Ruggero Riva (CGT) to be a Vice-president, while the appointment as representative of the association in the Steering Group of the sector’s European Committee CECE, goes to the other Vice-president, Nicola D’Arpino (CASE Construction Equipment).

Mirco Risi, President of Unacea, said: “At the end of a successful career, Enrico Prandini must be proud of the achievements by making a key contribution to the foundation and development of our association, up to holding the position of president of the European federation CECE in 2018-2020. We thank him for the passion, commitment and geniality that have always characterized him and we are committed to continue on his path at the service of construction equipment”.

“Not so long ago – comments Prandini – several companies in our sector were skeptical of trade associations as well as of sharing intentions with ‘competitors’. This is why we were considered dreamers when we decided to found Unacea with a small number of intrepid entrepreneurs. However, it was not considered that often, work, commitment and intellectual honesty can turn dreams into reality. A particular word of thanks to the team and to all the members for the trust placed in this great association, to which I wish all the best for the future”.
