In more details, 5,186\u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">earth moving machines<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\u00a0(+7%) and 127\u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">road machines<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\u00a0(-31%) have been sold between January and March 2023. Market figures, based upon the sales of manufacturing and import companies, have been released by Unacea on the occasion of\u00a0<\/span><a style=\"font-size: 16px; background-color: #ffffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.samoter.it\/en\">Samoter<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> which will run until 7th May in Veronafiere.<br \/><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Positive the results of foreign trade where, according to the last Unacea-Cer foreign trade report, <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">exportations<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\u00a0reached \u20ac3 billion in 2022, up 9% if compared to 2021. Positive also the\u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">importation<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">, with an increase of 30% for a value of \u20ac2 billion.\u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Trade balance<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> remains in surplus of more than \u20ac990 million, even losing 18% compared to the last year.<br \/><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\u201cThe Italian construction equipment market continues to grow in the first quarter of 2023, even showing the first signs of fatigue &#8211; said <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Michele Vitulano, president of Unacea<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">. The decrease of the road machines market and the slow down of the growth in sales of earth moving machines anticipates a more general stabilization of the Italian market, as forecasted by Unacea and Cer. The renewal of the fleet continues to be a priority in Italy and we hope that a government initiative will soon be reactivated to support companies who choose cutting-edge technologies.
