In more details, 21,107\u00a0<strong>earth moving machines<\/strong>\u00a0(+30%) and 893\u00a0<strong>road machines<\/strong>\u00a0(+26%) were sold.<\/p>\r\nPositive the foreign trade, according to the last Unacea-CER Foreign trade report. Indeed,\u00a0<strong>exports<\/strong>\u00a0between January and October 2021 reached \u20ac23 billion, up 19% compared to the same period of 2020. Positive the\u00a0<strong>imports<\/strong>\u00a0in the same period with an increase of 42%, for a value of \u20ac1.2 billion.\u00a0<strong>Trade balance<\/strong>\u00a0remains in surplus of more than \u20ac1 billion, surplus that grows at 2% annually.\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201c2021 ends with a definitely positive result for the construction equipment industry &#8211; said\u00a0<strong>Luca Nutarelli, secretary general of Unacea<\/strong>. The all year round growth has helped to recover what has been lost since the crisis of 2008. Furthermore, expectations for 2022 remain positive. On the other hand, the inflation dynamics, the rising cost of energy and the supply chain disruption, risk compromising the current phase of growth, reducing the profitability of companies in the medium term.
