Unacea and FEDERTEC participate with a joint exhibition area
dedicated to the Italian construction equipment companies
Today marks the start of Construction Indonesia, the exhibition dedicated to construction equipment and related technologies, that will take place until 14 September in Jakarta. This year’s edition is expected to attract 9,000 business visitors and 330 exhibiting companies from 58 countries, over an exhibition space of 13,000 square meters.
The Italian pavilion, organized by Unacea and FEDERTEC, is located in hall b1 and hosts Italian companies such as Indeco (B1-4103), Op (B1-4105), Simex (B1-4106), Sir Meccanica (B1-4102) and an institutional area (B1-4104). This participation shows the commitment of both trade associations to promote the internationalization of Italian companies, especially SMEs, which are central to the construction equipment industry.
“The Indonesian market, with an expected annual growth rate of 7.9% from 2024 to 2030, can represent a major opportunity for Italian companies in the sector – said Michele Vitulano, President of Unacea. Our goal is to strengthen the Italian presence at key international events and provide our companies with a prominent platform to showcase the excellence of made in Italy.”
Indonesian government policies, which include national infrastructure projects and public-private partnerships, combined with growing urbanization and economic expansion, create favorable conditions for Italian companies to enter the market. The fair is a key opportunity to build lasting connections, with the Indonesian market embracing trends like green construction, electric equipment and digital technologies for after-sales services.
