LE ORU – IMER GROUP JOINS UNACEA
Still another step forward towards
the unity of construction equipment
Le Officine Riunite – Udine Spa has decided to become a member of Unacea. "We have taken this step to contribute to the unification of the construction equipment representation," declared Paolo Salvatori, president and CEO of the firm. "What we appreciate of Unacea is its decidedly entrepreneurial, operational and pragmatic nature, in tune with the needs of our sector's industry. By joining this associative project with energy – continued Salvatori – we also hope to encourage and stimulate all the sector's companies and associations to speed up that necessary process of aggregation which should lead Italy, like all European countries, to have a unitary representation, more and more equal to the tasks of a strategic and advanced sector like construction equipment".
Imer Group, besides Le Oru and the group leader Imer International Spa, also includes Ihimer Spa, already a member of Unacea, as well as Imer-L&T and Imer Latinoamerica – two plants respectively located in Turkey and in Mexico. Moreover, the group has nine commercial branches all over the world.
Le Oru is one of the most important players on the market of concrete equipment. Thanks to its new important participation and to the presence of other firms of this sector in the association, Unacea intends to extend the activities devoted to it. It has already started such activities by carrying out statistical surveys of truck mixers, truck mixer-pumps, truck mounted pumps and concrete batching plants, and by organizing FOR-SAFETY – the courses on the use of construction machines in safety which will be held during Samoter international fair (Verona, 2-6 March 2011).
