New board elected. Mirco Risi President

The team who has been appointed at the board of the Italian association of construction equipment consists of both new faces and businessmen with a long-time experience in the development of the sector industrial association. The elected counselors at them first term are: Giorgio Cangini (Canginibenne), Roberto Lorenzoni (Caterpillar) and Federico Pagliacci (Soilmec). Among the incumbent, they have been reelected: Enrico Prandini (Komatsu) and Paolo Salvadori, which will hold the charge of Unacea Vice-president, Enrico Santini (Fiori Group), Antonio Strati (Case Construction/Cnh Industrial), Paolo Venturi (Kato-Imer) and Michele Vitulano (Indeco). Finally, Mirco Risi (Simex) has been elected President for the next two years, taking over from Paolo Venturi who has hold the position since 2014.

The election of the Unacea board took place the 20th of June in Veronafiere-Samoter, the international exhibition of construction equipment scheduled from 22nd to 25th March, 2020.

“The turnover of our industry – says the Unacea President Mirco Risi - amounts to €2.5 billion and employ more than 36,000 people with the related industries. However, our contribution in the production of technologies which improve efficiency, safety and environment compatibility is not reflected in the legislation, that actually ends up penalizing the purchasing of machines and attachments of the latest generations. It will be our commitment to continue to promote the industry proposals before national and European institutions, in favor of the community and the development of the market”.
